A few weeks ago Grandpa Duke and Grandma T came to visit. A highlight for the kids was definitely staying up late watching a movie and spending the night at the hotel with Grandma and Grandpa. I think swimming at the hotel was a close second.
We had lots of fun while they were here, and a little bleeding too.
Grandpa and Sam had a little lesson on inertia. Sam was on Grandpa's shoulders. We were racing to the car, and Sam's weight at the top of Grandpa's shoulder's didn't slow down when Grandpa's feet slowed, and down they went skidding face-down on the pavement. It was quite shocking, but honestly, they came out pretty unscathed considering. Sam's wounds were pretty deep, but Duke's face sure did bleed. We're all grateful nothing worse happened. And when Sam tells the story he doesn't leave out the most important part: "But we beat Mommy."
A happier moment.
For Thanksgiving we went to visit the Barnes, Wilbur, and Williams families. What fun we had! We are so grateful they let us come join them. Ty, Collin, and Sam-the 4 year old boys. We miss you all!
Thomas and Collin sliding down Greg and Diane's stairs.
Collin and Sam. (Sam is a little closer to the camera so he looks kind of big, but they're the same as you can see in the next picture.)
It doesn't take long for kids to become best buds.
Sam and Thomas sporting their new bow ties.
Back to Grandma and Grandpa's visit. The California Academy of Sciences. Thanks D&T (can I call you that?) for a fun trip!
A little hike.
This one's for Ashley-my favorite picture of Gemma.

Poor Duke and Sam!! They looked pretty beat up! We're glad you guys had fun at Thanksgiving and we are sad we missed you! It's funny what you said about that picture of Collin and Sam because I thought "Holy cow Sam is huge!" Ha. Oh and the picture of your boys in the bow ties is adorable!
How cute are your boys. Landon made me go thru every picture and he pointed out his friends. Miss you guys.
