Memorial Day

It's always hard to remember what has happened in the last week.  I'll start with the most recent and go back.  Monday we went to visit the cousins.  Sam woke up telling everyone, "I'm going to the beach with my cousins!"  We decided not to go to the beach in the end, but grilled some shish-ka-bobs and hot dogs by a playground.  It was great because Dave and Vid made the food, the kids played, and Tanya and I talked.

Here are some pictures of the waffles (frozen) we had for memorial day.  That buttermilk syrup is divine.

Can you believe Dave made this one?  I was impressed.

This week and last have been kind of busy because Dave is pianist for a play that our ward is performing Friday and Saturday.  Ok, not our ward, but some youth and primary kids in our ward are doing Into the Woods Jr.  I'm looking forward to seeing it.  I do love musicals.

I've just finished reading this book:

It was a good read.

I honestly can't remember what we have done the last couple of weeks.  That's why I shouldn't skip.  I guess that's all for now.
